About Me

My name is Steve. I’ve lived in Texas for almost my entire adult life, 25 years now. I’ve been living in Bedford for ten years and have only participated in politics as an eager observer until recently when the antics from the 85th Legislature convinced me that I could no longer sit idly by. My issue of primary concern is funding for public school education in Texas – for my two kids, for all their classmates, and our future. An investment in public schools should be at the top of our state's budget list because it will result not only with a better educated workforce but a more prosperous Texas! From where I stand, it looks like we can't afford NOT to invest!
